Bookings

How do I book a unit?

Once you have accepted our quotation, we will forward an invoice to you, along with our standard contract and terms/conditions for your self- storage container rental. This contract should be completed before your induction with the facilities manager, where you will collect the keys and gain access to your container. If any help is needed whilst filling out the contract, copies and assistance will be available at the office at Unit 16 Rose Centre.

You can find our Standard self-storage licence agreement here

We will need two forms of ID before your induction, acceptable forms include:

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • Proof of address such as a utility bill

Copies of your ID will be taken for record purposes only and will be filed securely with your storage agreement in line with data protection laws. For time saving and safety purposes if preferred, copies of your ID documents can be emailed to: info@shoeboxstorage.co.uk.

Once the contract is signed and we have confirmed your agreement and first payment, you can start using your storage unit straight away. You will also have to purchase one of our container locks, then you will be furnished with two keys. This lock and key are specific to your unit only. If you need any further advice or information please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Using the Container

When you arrive, you will need the combination number for the entrance gates to plot 14 (container site). There will be space available to park or you can drive right up to the door of your unit letting you offload your products with ease.

The site has 24/7 access which is floodlit and activated by PIR sensors, so can be accessed even in the dark. We have 24-hour CCTV monitoring at the entrance and the access ways that record all activities. The padlocks you have purchased from us are single-use and therefore specific to each unit meaning it can only be used on your contract.
